Overview of facility use guidelines
Purpose and community engagement
The Downtown Islamic Center offers a wide array of spiritual, religious, educational, social, recreational and community programs for the Muslim residents of Chicago. DIC also warmly opens its doors to organizations, groups and individuals who wish to use our facilities for activities aligned with our vision and mission.
Respect and reverence
As a mosque and spiritual hub, DIC is a sacred space where the community gathers for worship and Islamic activities. We kindly remind all users that our center is a house of Allah (SWT) and should be respected as such during any event or program.
