BEGINNERS’ ARABIC
This course is for anyone looking to learn Arabic. No prerequisites necessary. Tuition is $50 for the course. Classes will be Sundays at 12:00 PM starting September 13. (Hybrid)
INTERMEDIATE ARABIC
This course is for those who can read Arabic but want to improve pace and pronunciation. Tuition is $50 for the course. Classes will be Mondays at 5:30 PM starting September 14. (Hybrid)
KIDS’ PRogram: 5-14
Our Kids’ Program covers seerah, hadith, Qur’an, and Islamic Studies. Tuition is $50/month. Classes are Sundays from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, starting September 13. (In-person)
KIDS’ INTRO TO ROBOTICS: 8-14
This is a one-hour weekly in-person program for kids ages 8-14, which will take students from the basics of electronics all the way to programming microcontrollers. The program will be on Sundays from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. The program starts September 20 and will last 8 weeks.

sisters’ tafsir
This is a one-hour tafsir class for sisters of Surah al-Baqarah using the Tafsir of Imam al-Qurtubi. We also discuss and reflect on the verses together. Sessions are Mondays from 6:30-7:30. The course is free and open to all women. (Hybrid)

KIDS’ QUR’AN COMPETITION
Downtown Islamic Center is planning our second Qur’an competition Saturday, December 12th. This is for kids ages 5-12. More details will be shared by mid-September. Register to receive competition updates. (In-person)

Curious about Islam? Join us for Open Mosque Day at Downtown Islamic Center Saturday, September 19th at 11:00 AM. Learn the basics of Islam, hear frequently-asked questions, and ask questions of your own. Open to all people and ages. (In-person)

New to Islam? Downtown Islamic Center is planning a New Muslim program to serve new shahadas and reverts to Islam. We will offer monthly events for new Muslims and quarterly for social events. Register below to receive updates. (In-person)
