New islamic center

The Messenger of Allah said, "Whoever builds a Masjid for (the sake of) Allah, then Allah will build a similar house for him in Paradise."

Downtown Islamic Center is the only masjid in the heart of Chicago, the third-largest city in the United States. Alhamdulillah, we have acquired another building that is four times larger than our current building. It is large enough to meet the needs of our rapidly-growing local community, as well as the thousands of Muslims who visit every year.

For Phase 1 of the renovation, we are focusing on building out our prayer hall and wu'du facilities. This is your opportunity to earn the reward of thousands of Muslims who will come to worship over the next decades. We estimate an additional $4 million is needed to complete this.
